Day-by-day Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive Lusaka; overnight Taj Pamodzi Hotel or similar
Day 2: Fly to Kafue National Park; overnight Shumba Camp
Days 3-4: Spend two full days on safari in Kafue National Park, with game drives, walking safaris and night drives; overnight Shumba Camp
Day 5: Fly to South Luangwa National Park; overnight Puku Ridge Tented Camp
Days 6-7: Spend two full days on safari in South Luangwa National Park, known as the best walking destination in Africa, and day and night wildlife-viewing drives; overnight Puku Ridge Tented Camp
Day 8: Fly to Lower Zambezi National Park; overnight Chiawa Camp
Days 9-10: Two full days of game viewing and safari activities (bush walking, river safaris, canoeing, fishing and game drives) in the Lower Zambezi; overnight Chiawa Camp
Day 11: Fly to Victoria Falls, sunset cruise on the Zambezi River; overnight Victoria Falls Hotel
Day 12: Fly to Hwange National Park inZimbabwe; overnight Davison’s Camp
Days 13-14: Two full days on safari in Hwange National Park, with 4×4 game drives and guided nature walks throughout the Makalolo concession; overnight Davison’s Camp
Day 15: Depart for Lusaka or Johannesburg and connect with flights home. Depending on flight schedules and connection times, you may be required to overnight in Johannesburg or Lusaka (not included in trip rate).
Included:
Accommodation in shared rooms (if 2 guests) and single room for solo traveler; accommodation on full-board bases with all meals/snacks; activities (walks/game drives/boat trips) and drinks while on Safari; services of a full-time Tour Leader throughout (Nadia Eckhardt); park entrance fees; all game drives in a 4×4 safari vehicle; government taxes and levies; internal flights (only as specified) and domestic taxes.
Not Included:
International and domestic airfares (only internal safari flights mentioned above are included), international and domestic departure tax; first and last night (if required) accommodation, dependent on airline routing.
