Ella Bauer (in her own words)
My name is Ella Bauer and I am a 55yr old single South African female. I was born in Cape Town, South Africa. My parents are of Austrian descent and immigrated to South Africa 2 years prior to my birth. My father fell in love with South Africa and its wild life and decided to settle here. I was brought up very much around wild life in my younger years and enjoyed the privilege of seeing many different game parks. At present I am living in South Africa’s very beautiful garden route in a place called Knysna renowned for its natural beauty with lakes, beaches and indigenous forests.

I was educated in Cape Town and finished my studies in 1977. I worked as an interior decorator until 1993. Since 1993 to date I have been in the tourism industry. I have led many tour groups from different cultures through South Africa, Swaziland, Lesotho, Namibia and Mozambique and enjoy experiencing the diverse people. Tourism is my passion. I believe I have gained a vast knowledge of numerous subjects over the years and relate this information with enthusiasm and love to my clients. I am an outgoing, energetic and compassionate individual with a keen sense of fun.

My hobbies are: arts and crafts, photography, birding, hiking, wild life and canoeing.
