KENYA & TANZANIA MY WAY
LED BY NADIA ECKHARDT

October 18 – 30, 2026

Day-by-day Itinerary:

Day 1 | Arrive in Nairobi, Kenya

Arrive in Nairobi, Kenya, where your private transfer will take you to your hotel for a one-night stay. Later, you’ll meet Nadia Eckhardt and the rest of your group, marking the beginning of your unforgettable adventure.

Day 2 | Fly to Mara Mara

After breakfast check out of the hotel and meet your transfer to Wilson Airport for your flight to Mara Mara.  Here you will check into Governors Camp or similar for 3 nights.

Masai Mara National Reserve

One of Kenya’s undisputed natural highlights is the Masai Mara National Reserve, which sprawls across more than 1500 square kilometers of the country’s southwest. The park protects a phenomenal array of game, including elephant, lion, leopard and buffalo, as well as crocodile and hippopotamus in the Mara River. The birdlife is no less impressive, with over 450 resident bird species. However, the true highlight here is the Great Migration, recognized as one of the Seven New Wonders of the World. To survive the dry months of July to September, some 1.7 million wildebeest, migrate from the parched plains of the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania. Along with much smaller numbers of antelope, buffalo and zebra, they move to the more forgiving grasslands of the Masai Mara. In their wake come predators such as lion, hyena and cheetah, for whom these giant herds are an easy source of prey.

Day 3 & 4 | Full Day Game Drives

Spend the next two days on exhilarating game drives, where you’ll have the chance to witness the awe-inspiring wildebeest migration in the Masai Mara. In the evenings, unwind at the camp, sharing stories with fellow travelers about the incredible wildlife encounters of the day.

Day 5  | Fly to the Serengeti

After breakfast check out of the camp and meet transportation to Migori Airstrip where you will fly to the Serengeti. Upon arrival you will check into Taasa Lodge or similar for 3 nights.

Seronera Region of Serengeti National Park

The Seronera region, in the central Serengeti, is set directly on the Great Migration route and offers excellent viewing of this incredible annual phenomenon, when countless wildebeest flood the area and move across the plains. While migratory game populations fluctuate seasonally, Seronera is still a wildlife hotspot at other times of the year, sheltering the Big Five, among many other species. A number of small campsites provide accommodation, and visitors can enjoy hot air balloon trips and walking safaris as well as guided game drives.

Day 6 & 7 | Full Day on Safari

Enjoy two full days on safari in the Serengeti National Park. You will get the opportunity to see amazing landscapes and thrilling wildlife. In your evening relax at your camp. Take the Opportunity to enjoy and Optional Ballon Safari.

Day  8 | Fly to Manyara

After breakfast check out of your camp and fly to Manyara. Here you will be transferred to Plantation Lodge or similar where you can spend the rest of your day relaxing. You will check in for 2 nights.

Day 9 | Full Day in the Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast set out on your full day adventure down into the Ngorongoro Crater. You will take a packed lunch so you can continue exploring.

Ngorongoro Crater

The Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is one of Africa’s most remarkable wildlife destinations. Formed by the collapse of a massive volcano millions of years ago, this vast caldera is home to an incredible concentration of wildlife, including the Big Five—lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and the rare black rhino. Its diverse ecosystem features open grasslands, acacia forests, and soda lakes teeming with flamingos, creating a breathtaking setting for game drives. Often referred to as the “Eden of Africa,” the crater offers an unparalleled safari experience, where visitors can witness a thriving ecosystem within the crater’s natural enclosure.

Day 10 | Fly to Zanzibar

After breakfast depart lodge and head to airstrip where you will fly to Zanibar. Transfer to Sea Cliff Resort or similar and check in for a three night stay.

Day 11 | Stone Town, Jozani Reserve, & Spice Tour

Enjoy a full day of touring in Zanzibar. You’ll start off tour classic stone twon then move on to the Jozani Reserve. Finish your day off with a spice tour.

Day 12 | Day at Leisure

Spend your day soaking in the relaxing elements of the Sea Cliff Resort or explore Zanzibar on your own.

Day 13 | Depart home

After breakfast, begin your journey home. Transfer to Zanzibar airport, where you’ll bid farewell to your tour leader and fellow travelers before departing for home.
