Day-by-day Itinerary:

Day 1 | Arrive in Windhoek, Namibia

Touch down in Windhoek, Namibia. Clear Customs and Immigration on arrival and meet your tour agent in the arrival hall for a private transfer to the Weinberg Hotel. Spend the remainder of the day exploring the beautiful city on own including sites like Christ Church (Christuckirche), the National Museum, and Alte Feste. Don’t forget to try a typical Namibian dish ‘kapana’ or biltong!

Windhoek, Namibia

Windhoek, the capital of Namibia, offers a unique blend of African and European cultures, showcased in its German colonial-era architecture and vibrant markets.

The Christuskirche, a Neo-Baroque cathedral built in 1907, stands as an iconic symbol of the city, resembling a gingerbread house. Visitors can explore museums, galleries, and gourmet dining while soaking in the city’s rich history.

Day 2 | NamibRand Nature Reserve

Meet your private transfer to Eros Airport where you will board your flight to NamibRand Nature Reserve. You will arrive right in time for lunch. Enjoy the 360 views of the Namibian desert. Spend your evening relaxing on your own.

Day 3 | NamibRand Reserve

Enjoy a morning or afternoon drive. These drives cover a distance of about 40- 50 km and take 3-four hours. Afternoon scenic drives are often combined with sunset in the dunes. A day drive is a truly memorable excursion. Covering a distance of about 120 km it offers the highest degree of diversity as well as a better understanding of the dimensions of the NamibRand Conservancy. Also, a delicious picnic lunch is served in the middle of nowhere! The day drive leaves after breakfast and returns approximately an hour before sunset.

NamibRand Reserve

NamibRand, one of Southern Africa’s largest private nature reserves, was created by converting former sheep farms into a sanctuary where wildlife roams freely. The Reserve features four habitats: dunes, mountains, gravel plains, and their interface, and is home to diverse wildlife, including 3,200 oryx, 12,400 springbok, and predators like leopards, hyenas, and jackals. Over 150 bird species have been identified, alongside ongoing studies of other fauna and flora. With minimal interference, NamibRand employs innovative resource management, annual game counts, and local outreach for predator-livestock conflict resolution.

Day 4  | Fly to Witwater, Sossusvlei

After a leisurely breakfast meet private transfer and fly to Witwater. This evening enjoy a Sundowner drive to see the Famous sand sea in a golden light.

Namib Sand Sea

The Namib Desert, the world’s oldest desert, features some of Earth’s tallest dunes within the 34,000-square-kilometer Namib Sand Sea. Sand from the Orange River, carried by currents and winds, forms crescent dunes near the coast and linear and star dunes inland. Dune 45, a 5-million-year-old star dune, rises 80 meters above the desert floor, showcasing the area’s wind-sculpted beauty.

Day 5 | Explore Sossusvlei

After breakfast you will get the chance to visit one of Namibia’s most popular sites, Sossusvlei. You will spend your day exploring the large red sand dunes. At the end of the day return to your hotel for a relaxing evening.

Sossusvlei

Sossusvlei, located in Africa’s largest conservation area, the Namib-Naukluft National Park, is one of Namibia’s most iconic attractions. Known for its towering red dunes, some nearly 400 meters high, it surrounds a white salt and clay pan that remains dry most years due to the desert’s arid conditions. Occasionally, heavy rains fill the pan, creating a stunning reflective lake that draws visitors and photographers worldwide. Despite its harsh environment, the area supports diverse plant and animal life and is easily accessible, with shuttles available for the final stretch to the vlei.

Day 6 | Fly to Swakpomund

After breakfast take a scenic flight over dune valleys, Sossusvlei to coastline, past Shipwrecks and Seal colonies to Swakopmund. Check into Hansa Hotel for three nights on B&B basis. Spend your day enjoying the oldest hotel in Namibia and the charming town of Swakopmund.

Day 7 | Tour Sandwich Harbor & Swakopmund City Tour

After breakfast spend your morning touring Sandwich Harbour. After a lunch on your own do a city walk around Swakopmund and learn about the rich history.

Sandwich Harbor

Sandwich Harbour, located less than 60 km south of Walvis Bay in the Namib-Naukluft National Park, is one of Namibia’s most dramatic and unique sites. Famous for its towering dunes descending into the Atlantic Ocean, the area features a picturesque lagoon and is a designated Ramsar site, protecting vital wetlands and endangered bird species.

Once a fishing port, it now preserves archaeological evidence of hunter-gatherer and pastoralist lifestyles dating back thousands of years. This breathtaking blend of dunes, ocean, and historical significance makes it a must-visit destination.

Day 8 | Seal & Dolphin Cruise, Walvis Bay/Swakopmund

After breakfast get ready to depart on your Seal and dolphin cruise. You’ll get the chance to see these amazing creatures up close. You will leave from Walvis Bay. The bay contains three different kinds of dolphins, with bottlenoses being the most common. Return in the afternoon and enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure.

Day 9 | Fly & Drive to Etosha National Park for Safari

Met your private transfer to the airport to depart for Etosha National Park. Arrive in time for lunch.

Etosha National Park

The Etosha Pan, covering 4,800 km² within Etosha National Park, is Africa’s largest salt pan and a striking natural landmark visible from space. Once a vast lake, it dried up due to tectonic shifts diverting rivers to the Atlantic, leaving behind its iconic white, alkaline clay surface. In the wet season, rainwater pools attract migrating flamingos, while wildlife uses the salt springs as licks. Rich in history and legend, the pan has been home to early hunter-gatherers, explored by Europeans in 1851, and even served as a backdrop for 2001: A Space Odyssey.

Etosha National Park features numerous waterholes, both natural and man-made, offering some of the best wildlife viewing opportunities, especially during the dry winter months when animals gather to drink. Many camps provide the unique experience of floodlit waterholes, allowing visitors to observe wildlife at night. Each waterhole has its own distinct character, attracting different species depending on the season. These waterholes are prime spots for spotting big and small game alike, making them a highlight of any visit to the park.

Day 10 | Game Drive

Today go on an exciting game drive with expert guides. You will gain extensive knowledge of local flora and fauna. You will see a diverse range of species on your journey. Return to the hotel for a relaxing evening.

Day 11 | Depart Home

After breakfast fly from Etosha to Hosea Kutako International Airport, Windhoek, where you will start your journey onward or home.
